We are excited to present two great speakers for our February ePayment Initiatives Update. Our first speaker, Jennifer Gatts from Payments Central, will provide an overview of the good, the bad, and the truth about what's going on in the payments world today. Jennifer, AAP, is the Training Manager of Payments Central, Inc., a not-for-profit trade association providing ACH training services to financial institutions. She is responsible for the association's member training and has presented on topics such as ACH Fraud, Check 21, Government ACH Payments, marketing ACH Origination, and ACH Operations. Jen obtained her Accredited ACH Professional (ACH) status in 2003, and joins the 2,500 payments professionals to earn this national accreditation.
In addition, Lori Sullivan from Butler County Treasurer's Office, will provide a praticioner's view of payment initiatives. Lori will review their use of electronic check deposits as well as the County's ePayment Center. Lori Sullivan joined the Butler County Treasurer's Office in July 1997 and was recently named Chief Deputy of Operations. As Chief Deputy, she manages a staff of approximately thirty people, oversees the day-to-day operations, and coordinates project implementation. Prior to joining the Treasurer's office, Lori spent five years with the Butler County Clerk of Courts.
