Facing Your Fears: Mitigating the Risks of International Business

 

Jennifer Teasdale, International Product Specialist from JPMorganChase, will be presenting valuable information on risk considerations when dealing with non-US trading partners.  This includes involving the right people to address risk concerns, risk mitigating solutions, cross-border payment flows and FX, and basic banking arrangements and options.  Jennifer will be sharing various topics under a common theme:  An opportunity is presented to the Controller/CFO/Treasurer for new international business, whether procuring product from overseas, selling to international buyers, setting up new operations, or an M&A situation.  These topics will be presented from the perspective of the Financial Team.   

 

 

Jennifer Teasdale, CTP

Jennifer Teasdale is an International Treasury Specialist with Chase Bank, located in Dayton, Ohio.  Her focus includes understanding the needs of companies entering into the International marketplace, and applying unique solutions that help small- to mid-sized companies grow their business.  Jennifer serves Chase’s clients in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia.

 

Jennifer has been in banking for 15 years, specializing in International and domestic Trade and Treasury Management services.  Prior to joining Chase in 1995, she worked for First Interstate Bank of Denver and Wachovia Bank of North Carolina. She has also earned the Certified Treasury Professional credential, evidencing her commitment to the treasury management needs of Chase’s clients.
