About SWOAFP |
Thanks to all members who responded to our Annual Spring Survey. We had over a 40% response rate with a number of very helpful comments from the respondents. The opinions of our members are appreciated. Using the results of the survey, the SWOAFP Executive Committee has put together a solid slate of topics based on the interest level. From the survey, we confirmed the meeting time and locations are preferable for the majority of our members and that there is not a strong sentiment to change our association name at this time.

President Sarah Burton and Vice President Steve Skerl attended the AFP Regional
Officers’ Meeting in
For the first time, the SWOAFP submitted an entry in the annual Idea Fair held at the Regional Officers’ Meeting. Regional associations present ideas they have implemented during the previous year in various categories. Attendees then rate who they believe presented the best idea. The SWOAFP submitted its Annual Member Survey in the “Other” category and President Sarah Burton made a presentation to the attendees. The SWOAFP used the Annual Member Survey in 2001 to develop meeting topics for the 2001/2002 season, contributing to the 15% increase in attendance at our meetings last year.
The SWOAFP won First Place for our submission. The award will be displayed at the September meeting.
