Website

We encourage you to visit your website at www.swoafp.org.  The site contains valuable information such as:

·        General information about the SWOAFP

·        A membership registration form

·        List of officers and a copy of our by-laws

·        Calendar of upcoming events and meetings

·        Career opportunities

·        Newsletters

Continuing education credits

In addition to earning valuable CCM/CTP education credits, the SWOAFP monthly meetings are now eligible for CPE credits as well.  The national AFP recently changed the CCM designation to the CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation.  We will present more details on this change at our October meeting.

Spring Survey Results

Thanks again to those members who responded to our May survey. We had close to a 40% response rate.  Your comments are instrumental in helping us to maintain the quality of the meeting locations, topics, and speakers.   Using the results of the survey, the SWOAFP Executive Committee has put together the following solid slate of topics based on your interest levels.

AFP Regional Officers’ Meeting

SWOAFP Policy Chairperson Scott Mumpower attended the AFP Regional Officers’ Meeting in Washington DC this July. He took part in numerous best-practices roundtable discussions with other AFP regional associations from around the country.  Scott brought back a number of great ideas on ways to enhance the SWOAFP.  Scott also accepted on behalf of the SWOAFP a first place plaque in the Idea Fair for the “reel-in” membership campaign that Sarah Burton lead last year that resulted in a 15% increase in membership!
