December Meeting

Ann Marie Sabath, President of At Ease Inc and nationally known business etiquette expert, presented   10 Key Ways for Gaining that Edge in Today’s Workplace and, during dinner, The Art of Conducting Business During Meals  to nearly 70 members and guests at our December meeting.  Ann Marie’s lively discussion was both entertaining and informative.  Based on survey results, everyone thoroughly enjoyed this meeting.  We will polling interest for a potential encore for next year in our annual membership survey in late spring.

 

Upcoming January Meeting

 On January 15th, Anthony Chan, economist from Bank One, will share his insights and predictions of what the 2003 economy will bring. This meeting will be held at the Academy of Medicine in Downtown Cincinnati.  More information is available in the Calendar section.

 

2003 Membership Invoice Due

As a reminder, if you have not sent in your 2003 Membership Renewal, please do so as soon as possible in order to continue to enjoy the benefits of the SWOAFP membership.  If you have misplaced your membership invoice, a copy of the invoice is on our web site.

 

“Reel In” Membership Drive

At our September meeting, we announced our “Reel In” Fall Membership Drive .  We hope to expand our membership base in 2003 and ask our current members to help us spread the word.  For your effort, if you refer a *qualified referral to become a member of the SWOAFP for 2003, you will receive tickets for two and refreshments to the movies (National Amusements).   You can direct interested parties to Rob Brooks, Membership Chair, or Sarah Burton, President, for more information on the SWOAFP.  Or direct them to this website for the membership application and association details. Simply have the applicant mention your name in the Referred By section.

 

*Qualified referrals are treasury practitioners who have not been a member of SWOAFP for the past two years and pays membership dues to SWOAFP for 2003.
