Hello from Southwest Ohio AFP! 

We hope everyone had a great summer!  We cannot believe that summer is already coming to an end.  We are ready to kick off our monthly meetings once again.  The board has decided to change our meeting days this year.  We will now be meeting on the 2nd Wednesday each month, rather than the 3^rd Wednesday.  Our start time will continue to be 4:30pm.  We have all meeting dates for this year posted on the website (www.swoafp.org) with meeting topics included, if available.  As the meeting dates approach each month, more specific details will be added to the website.  Meeting topics are subject to change.  If anyone would like to provide feedback on meeting topics, please feel free to contact us.      

Parking for this month's meeting will be provided by Plante Moran at the lot across the street from their office.  An email with a parking voucher will be provided to registered attendees closer to the meeting date.  This will not be a dinner meeting, but light refreshments will be provided. 

Our topic is on repatriating funds.  The session will cover what US companies need to consider when bringing US dollars back to the US from abroad.  The speaker will discuss both currency and tax risks associated with repatriating funds, and they will walk us through different repatriation scenarios.

Because this is our first meeting back after the summer break, we will be having a networking happy hour after the meeting.  We will be walking over to the Holy Grail at The Banks to catch up with each other and maybe take in a bit of the Reds game at the bar.  Everyone is welcome at the happy hour!
