Anthony Chan, economist from Bank One, presented his 2003 economic forecast to over 60 SWOAFP and RIMS members at our January meeting. Dr. Chan’s keen insights and thorough analysis of the US economy was well received and very informative.
On
February 19th, Dr. Joseph Petrick, Ethics expert and professor from Wright State
University, will present Tools to Strengthen Organizational Integrity.
He will provide us practical tools to designed to help leaders and
managers strengthen company development and comprehensive ethics management
systems in their workplaces -- systems to deal with the complex, ethical issues
that can occur in the day-to-day realities of leading and managing an
organization. This meeting will be
held at the Holiday Inn in Sharonville/Blue Ash.

As
a reminder, if you have not sent in your 2003 Membership Renewal, please do so
as soon as possible in order to continue to enjoy the benefits of the SWOAFP
membership. If you have misplaced
your membership invoice, a copy of the invoice is on our web site.
At
our September meeting, we announced our “Reel In” Fall Membership Drive.
We have awarded five members the referral prize during our 2003
Membership drive to date. As you
know, we hope to expand our membership base in 2003 and ask our current members
to help us spread the word. For your
effort, if you refer a *qualified referral to become a member of the SWOAFP for
2003, you will receive tickets for two and refreshments to the movies (National
Amusements). You can direct

details. Simply have the applicant mention your name in the Referred By section.
*Qualified
referrals are treasury practitioners who have not been a member of SWOAFP for the
past two years and pays membership dues to SWOAFP for 2003.
