March Meeting

At our March 19^th  meeting,  “Connecting Today with Tomorrow: Best Practices in Cash Forecasting”, was presented by Bradie Barr from Selkirk Financial.  Also, SWOAFP member Lynn Grismer from The Relizon Company presented a practitioner’s point of view when she discussed the techniques she employs for her company’s cash flow forecasting.  The meeting covered the basics of cash flow forecasting for those getting started to more sophisticated methodologies in the best practices portion of the presentation. 

Upcoming April Meeting

Please join us for SWOAFP’s annual business tour on April 16^th at Argosy Casino and Hotel in Lawrenceberg, IN.  After a brief tour of the casino boat commencing at 4:30pm, Argosy’s Finance Director and Cage & Credit Manager will share with us the financial aspects of their operation and the casino industry.  After the tour and the informational session, we will have a buffet dinner for those interested. Passes for reentry to the casino boat will be available as well.  More details are on the web site.

2003 – 2004 Cincinnati Treasury Management Board

As we approach the end of our season, we will be electing new officers for the 2003 – 2004 season at the May meeting.  We also have several committee positions that will be filled as well.  If you have an interest in getting more involved in SWOAFP, please contact me at sarah.burton@relizon.com or at 937-630-8244.  Our board meetings are conveniently held directly after our regular meetings and all are welcome.
