October Meeting
Sandy Saxer from PNC presented
“Working Capital Management” to over 40 people at our October meeting.
He discussed the unique position treasury professionals are in to be able
to evaluate and advise our companies on how to improve working capital,
especially important in this slow economic environment.
On
December 4th, we are thrilled to have Ann Marie Sabath, President of At Ease Inc
and nationally known business etiquette expert, to present 10 Key Ways for Gaining that Edge in Today’s Workplace
and, during dinner, The Art of Conducting Business During Meals. This meeting will
be held at the Holiday Inn in Sharonville. More
information is available in the Calendar section.
At our September meeting, we
announced our “Reel In” Fall Membership Drive.
We hope to expand our membership base in 2003 and ask our current members
to help us spread the word. For your
effort, if you refer a *qualified referral to become a member of the SWOAFP for
2003, you will receive tickets for two and refreshments to the movies (National
Amusements). You can direct
interested parties to Rob Brooks, Membership Chair, or Sarah Burton, President,
for more information on the SWOAFP. Or
direct them to this website for the membership application and association
details. Simply have the applicant mention your name in the Referred By section.
*Qualified referrals are treasury practitioners who
have not been a member of SWOAFP for the past two years and pays membership dues
to SWOAFP for 2003.
