This is our Annual Meeting where officers and committee chairs will be voted in for the next year.  We will also present our financials and budget status.  Dinner will be included, so please RSVP as soon as possible so that we can get the final headcount to the restaurant.   

This session will provide an introduction to basic complex financial and cyber schemes currently affecting our communities. There will be a focus upon how social engineering can be used to target vulnerable individuals and companies. The presentation is non-technical in nature and provides the audience with a glimpse of the how the internet has become fertile ground for criminal activity while also reminding the audience about traditional fraud schemes and practices. Accompanying Supervisory Special Agent Warfel will be Forensic Accountant Colin Malone who will also share insight regarding investigative techniques and the importance of the Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements.

Supervisory Special Agent, Robert Warfel is a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis and Ohio Northern University College of law and has been a member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 1997. SSA Warfel has worked in several areas of investigation, including Violent Crimes, Public Corruption, Civil Rights, National Security/Counter Terrorism, and Complex Financial Crimes. Robert Warfel is currently a Supervisory Special Agent in the Cincinnati Division. A certified FBI instructor, SSA Warfel has taught numerous courses and deployed on major investigations throughout the United States and internationally.
