How AI is Transforming Finance Departments (Treasury, AR, AP) 

Dave Robertson, Managing Director, Cash Path Advisors

Dave has held a variety of leadership roles in the financial services industry and is currently a founder and Managing Director with CashPath Advisors.  In this role, he and his team assist CFOs and Banking Executives in driving value and managing risk in Treasury and Working Capital. 

Mr. Robertson has grown advisory business units at PMC Treasury, Deluxe, and Treasury Strategies. 

•       At Treasury Strategies, he grew the Financial Services consulting business, leading to the sale of the company to Novantas (now Curinos).
•       At Deluxe, he launched an advisory business from scratch, leveraging data mining and sales enablement tools to help banks sell value added AR and AP solutions.
•       At PMC Treasury he grew the Treasury Solutions business 4X by introducing new solutions, including treasury outsourcing, treasury diagnostics, and transactional FX risk management solutions, while strengthening business development practices.

Prior to joining Treasury Strategies, Mr. Robertson served in a variety of leadership roles in the US and Canada with Bank of Montreal.

Mr. Robertson has developed proprietary models and tools for treasury management advisory sales, commercial deposit and fee pricing, and treasury and working capital diagnostics.  He has been a trusted advisor for due diligence work – both with respect to the financial operations of companies as well as product and operating model capabilities of both Fintechs and Banks.

He is currently leading an effort to build a micro LLM for CFOs and Treasurers that will automate much of the corporate treasury consulting business. 

Dave is a frequent speaker at industry events (AFP, NACHA, SIBOS) and has testified before the House Financial Services Committee on treasury and banking regulations and before the CFTC board (led by Gary Gensler) on the regulation of derivatives.  In his spare time, Dave enjoys hiking, cooking, and composing music.
