Please join the SWOAFP for a timely presentation by Derek Yankoff on two headline topics: cryptocurrencies and the evolving metaverse. How will the rise of crypto (blockchain) and meta change our lives, both personally and professionally?   

Derek describes himself as an organizational strategist and a pragmatic entrepreneur, with a focus on organizational culture and managing change. During his career he has founded, grown, and/or led, B2B tech-enabled service companies during the start-up, growth and maturity phases. He has incubated startup companies, consulted for, and funded early-stage business ventures, particularly in highly regulated markets such as Banking. 

Most recently Derek served as an advising Chief Product and Strategy Officer to a national FinTech company, while also working with several banks nationally on enterprise risk management, digital transformation, platform modernization and bank innovation. 

Derek enjoys complex, highly regulated markets that have been historically constrained by technological progress, often due to over-regulation. He thrives in identifying, creating and building product led organizations that provide immediate value in terms of cost savings, operational resiliency and improved shareholder returns. He earned an undergraduate degree from Harvard University and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
