Please join the SWOAFP for an in-depth history (and tour) of Skyline Chili, one of Cincinnati's most iconic companies and brands.

Kevin McDonnell, President & CEO, will present an overview of the history and operations of Skyline, which was founded by Nicholas Lambrinides more than 70 years ago. 

In this meeting, Kevin will review the long history of Skyline in Cincinnati, and will address the evolution of the ownership structure of the company. Skyline was acquired from the original investors by Fleet Equity Partners (now Nautic Partners) in 1998, and then sold to Prudential Capital Group in 2005. In 2007, the management team, including Kevin, began the process of reacquiring a controlling interest  in the company, which was completed in 2010. 

Kevin joined the company as as CFO in 1991, and then added the titles of President, CEO and Chairman of the Board in 1993. He graduated from Dartmouth college, and then earned an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Covid permitting, Kevin and his team will provide a tour of the main cooking area (commissary), where their famous chili is prepared.

According to Skyline's existing sanitary policies (as a food preparation facility), masks will be required for all Visitors joining the facility tour.

Pending approval for 1.2 CTP credits from the Association for Financial Professionals.
