Ida Abdalkhani, Founder & President, Ability to Engage, Inc.

Ida is the Chief Catalyzer & Founder of Ability to Engage, Inc. Ability to Engage helps brands develop marketing communications, product ideas, brand strategies (brand personality, equity, and architecture), and consumer segmentations. The A2E team also develops and facilitates innovation sessions, strategic meetings, and team effectiveness workshops. Clients include start-up companies, international government groups, and some of the world’s largest and most respected companies in brand and marketing such as Clorox, ConAgra Foods, McGraw Hill, Ogilvy, PepsiCo, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, and Red Bull.

In addition to running an award-winning boutique consultancy, Ida has been featured on the cover of OSU’s alumni magazine, named a “52 Young Professionals to Know” in Columbus, Ohio, a P&G “40 Under 40” awardee, OSU “Early Career Achievement” recipient, TEDx speaker, Tone Networks Expert (subscription-based service focused on improving the personal and professional lives of women), Vistage International Speaker, and a “Top Professor in Entrepreneurship” in the nation. She has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in Creativity & Design Thinking- Strategies for Innovation at the University of Michigan and at The Ohio State University. She has also been a top-selling author (top 1.5% of books sold on Amazon and Top 50 book in “self-help journals” in the first week of publication). She serves on several boards including, Global Board of Directors, Procter & Gamble Alumni Network; Advisory Board Member, Key Bank Michigan; Board of Directors, Ohio Business Week. She has also been a member of Forbes Agency Council, an invitation only organization for senior-level executives in successful PR, media strategy, creative and advertising agencies. Ida holds six patents with the USPTO and has been published in Prentice Hall, YOUNG MONEY® magazine, and several blogs. As a certified Laughter Yoga instructor, she also enjoys getting people find their “inner child” through laughter.



Tim Ruge, Paycor

Tim Ruge is Paycor’s Director of Product Marketing, focusing on the HR Center of Excellence and various compliance topics. Since joining Paycor in 2012, Tim has led their efforts in getting customer feedback and helping deliver product features and content that helps Paycor’s customers make a difference in their organization. Tim has led in the planning, development and launching of Paycor’s Perform Payroll, Onboarding, Time, HR and Analytics solutions over the last six years.



David Mattei, Worldpay

David Mattei is Vice President of Product Management for Worldpay’s Fraud and Dispute product suite.  He has unique fraud insights from both the issuing and acquiring perspectives based on Worldpay’s 1,400 financial institutions, over 1 million merchant customers, and 40 billion annual transactions.  Fraud constantly poses financial and reputational risks to parties on both sides of a transaction.  David and his team constantly monitor evolving industry technologies and emerging attack vectors by fraudsters to create strategic product plans and operational processes to mitigate those attacks.  He has over 30 years of experience delivering innovative solutions that drive customer value and is a frequent speaker at industry events.



Ryan Budke, Wise & Trust

Ryan Budke is a serial entrepreneur with deep roots in Cincinnati, and an expertise in emerging markets. After being part of the Weblogs Inc acquisition by AOL in 2004, Ryan spent the better part of a decade developing and managing several divisions within AOL, most notably Netscape and Propeller. He also served as head of research and development for all Social and Content initiatives at the company, before leaving for MySpace. At MySpace, Ryan served as the GM of Content, overseeing some of the company’s most successful initiatives and product development. As a part of the founding group at the accelerator Science, INC in Los Angeles, Ryan helped with the launch of companies such as DogVacay, MeUndies, HelloSociety, and Dollar Shave Club. These days, Ryan has returned home to Cincinnati to be a part of the blossoming entrepreneurial movement in the midwest, founding the incubator Hamilton Labs in 2018. At Hamilton Labs, Ryan and his partners invest in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, connected health data, IOT, blockchain and cryptocurrencies through the startups they develop.

Dr. Reginald Tomas Lee, Xavier University

Reginald Tomas Lee, PhD, is a professor, author, speaker focusing on business domain management, an organization-wide framework that focuses on cash generation and management.  Currently, he is a management professor at Xavier University and the president of Business Dynamics & Research. Reginald previously worked for GM, IBM, Oracle, and and held senior supply chain positions at EY and Sapient. Prior to teaching at Xavier, he taught at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business. Reginald is the author of four books, including Lies, Damned Lies, and Cost Accounting, and Strategic Cost Transformation, with Project Profitability due to be published in 2019. He has written over 40 articles and white papers and was a featured writer for the "Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance." Reginald has advised several leading companies including Bristol Myers Squibb, Dell, Disney, DuPont, Home Depot, Lockheed-Martin, Motorola, Toyota, and UnitedHealth Group. Reginald has a PhD in mechanical engineering from the University.



Larry Williams, Synfiny

Larry C. Williams is currently the Source to Pay Business Practice Lead and Executive Advisor at SynFiny Advisors.  Larry leverages over 39 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Production Management, Purchasing/Procurement/Accounts Payable and Acquisition & Divestitures.  He is a recent P&G retiree with extensive experience to transform Suppliers, Solutions, Processes and Organizations using Strategic Sourcing practices and best in class Procure-to-Pay practices to order to create value.  Larry has spent his last 20 years in several roles in Global Business Services as North America Plant Capital & Expenses Purchases / Procurement Process Owner and in Global Payment Services responsible for Accounts Payable/ Vendor Master Process Solution Ownership, whilst providing operational support to the regional Accounts Payable Shared Service Centers.  He spent the last 4 years in Acquisitions & Divestitures working on divestiture of Pringles, Duracell and Beauty Care brands and acquisition of Merck Consumer Health brands.  Larry holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. 



Zoya Lieberman, Informa

Zoya Lieberman, CTP is the Director of the Commercial Competitive Intelligence at Informa’s Financial vertical. Zoya oversees the research and analytics of the domestic treasury services, digital banking, overnight investments, global trader finance, credit cards, and merchant processing services.  Joining Informa in 1998, Mrs. Lieberman has held the positions in both consumer lending research and commercial deposit products research.  Zoya received her Certified Treasury Professional designation in 2000 and is active member of both the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) and the Southern California Association of Financial Professionals (SCAFP).  Mrs. Lieberman has served on the board of directors at SCAFP for the past ten years, holding various positions, including SCAFP President and Education Chair. Prior to joining Informa Financial Intelligence, Mrs. Lieberman was employed at the Great Western Bank in their retail branch network.  She received a BS degree in Business Administration, a BA degree in Literature from University of Southern California, and an MBA from Pepperdine University. With more than 20 years in the financial services industry Mrs. Lieberman brings to the table a vast array of industry experience, product knowledge, and research expertise.



Johanna Kappner, Cincinnati Bengals

Johanna Kappner, currently in her 21st season with the Cincinnati Bengals, serves as the team’s Chief Financial Officer. Kappner is responsible for all financial aspects of the team, including League reporting, tax compliance, day-to-day financial and administrative operations and human resources. She began her career with the Bengals in December 1997 as Controller, a position she held from 1997-2016. In that role, she oversaw payroll and human resources. Prior to joining the Bengals, She worked as the Corporate Tax Manager at Baldwin Piano and as a Tax Manager at KPMG. Kappner received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati, where she also completed postgraduate studies in taxation.



Blair Kisker, FC Cincinnati

Blair Kisker obtained his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Kentucky along with a B.A. in Accounting, accompanied with a minor in Economics Management from Ohio Wesleyan University. Blair has a very diverse business background, with experience from a wide range of disciplines in the Accounting field (Costing, Financial, and International) as well as FP&A. Currently Blair is the Controller of FC Cincinnati.



Gary Hunt, University of Cincinnati

Gary Hunt has served as Treasurer at the University of Cincinnati since 2011. His responsibilities include oversight of tax, cash management and treasury operations, nonendowment investments, debt issuance and management, and investment operations, reporting and compliance for the endowment. Prior to joining the University of Cincinnati he served as Treasurer at Boise State University and prior to joining higher education Gary worked in the corporate sector, including 15 years in executive treasury management roles for both public and private multinational companies. He received his undergraduate degree in business from Miami University and his M.B.A. in finance from DePaul University.
