Darrin Steinmann joined Fifth Third Bank in May of 1993 and is currently the Vice President and Director of Bancorp Investigations & Recovery. Darrin is responsible for management of Bank Fraud, Workplace Violence, and Robbery Investigations. Prior to his current role, Darrin held positions as Special Investigations Manager, Regional Investigations Manager, Physical Security Supervisor, and Senior Fraud Investigator within Fifth Third Bank. Darrin has managed or conducted investigations involving bank fraud, embezzlement, identity theft, bank robbery, and workplace violence. Darrin has developed and presented training programs throughout the country, regarding robbery awareness, identity theft, cybercrime, workplace violence, fraud prevention, detection, and investigations.
Darrin has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and is a (CFCI) Certified Financial Crime Investigator. Darrin is involved with many Financial Crimes Industry Associations to include, Board of Advisors (IAFCI) International Association of Financial Crimes Investigations, (ABA) American Bankers Association (BIT’s) Bank Institute and Technology.
Kevin has over 15 years of consulting and auditing experience focusing on the design, implementation, and security of IT systems and infrastructure. Currently, Kevin is a Director of Security & Privacy Risk for RSM US LLP, where he leads teams that perform a multitude of in depth security reviews on various aspects of client IT environments.
